Princess Merit Gesso Cream in 250 ml.
Gesso Cream is a ready-to-use, ultra-white primer paint used alone or as an undercoat to prepare a surface to be painted. It primes surfaces for gouache, acrylic or oil paints, and provides the substrate with the waterproofing and roughness necessary for the adhesion of these paints. It will create a uniform surface and strengthen the adhesion of the paint to the support and allow a better final rendering of the colors, more vibrant!
If you want to apply Gesso cream to a colored surface, it will neutralize the colors and different textures of the elements you have used. The color you use will be more uniform, less altered by the nature and original color of the pieces.
It can be used to cover absorbent, porous, smooth and non-greasy substrates very quickly: wood, painting canvas, cardboard, thick paper, stone, plaster, etc. And thus reduce paint absorption. It is easy to apply and thanks to its opacity, coverage and matte finish, a single coat is enough to have a beautiful result. It can also be tinted by mixing with acrylic paints.
Many artists use it to prepare their creations, by covering it with a layer of Gesso before attacking their drawings or paintings!
It dries quickly and the product can be kept for a long time (close the jar well after each use). Use Gesso at room temperature and on a clean, dry medium. Apply a thin, even layer with a paddle brush or spalter brush, or achieve textured effects with a spatula. A 250ml jar can cover a layer with a surface area of 10 to 15 m². Clean tools after use.
